Small Beads

For Enhanced Detail and Precision in Molded Products

ARPRO® EPP plastic foam is comprised of individual expanded beads that can range from approximately 2 mm to 6 mm or more in size before molding, depending on the grade and density. For most molded parts these bead sizes are appropriate.

However there are some applications where easier mold filling and surface detail requirements call for a different approach.

ARPRO® Small Beads were developed to create an end product with more precise surface features such as tighter radii and sharply defined details, as well as thinner part walls and an aesthetically pleasing surface appearance.

ARPRO® Small Beads are currently used in automotive interior components including two-shelf sun visors and other parts highly visible to end users.
