ARPRO Molded Parts - Molding and Techniques
Laminated
Combine Molding and Lamination in a Single Step
This specialized technique helps provide additional value for a range of automotive parts and components. For example, automotive interior components made with the Laminated ARPRO® EPP technique have a reduced number of total parts, compared to standard designs. This reduces assembly labor and contributes to vehicle mass reduction efforts. The Laminated ARPRO® EPP technique is used for components such as automotive interior A, B and C pillars, knee bolsters, door panels, head rests, center consoles, instrument panels, and similar parts. Laminates may include the full range of TPO materials, cloth and even leather. This allows auto interior stylists and designers a virtually unlimited selection of texture choices. Laminated ARPRO® EPP can provide added value for other products including furniture components, shop fittings and other applications where a "Class A" surface is required. |
