JSP prepares ARPRO® prototypes for customer demonstration, testing, and evaluation. We incorporate the latest CAD/CAM and CNC technologies to prepare a wide variety of prototypes, from small to large, and in a complete range of ARPRO® densities. These rapid prototypes help our customers make design and engineering decisions more quickly and with added assurance.

Testing Services


We routinely perform dynamic impact testing for our customers, many in automotive applications, and have capabilities for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support a variety of applications, including crash analysis.  Our FEA techniques are recognized by the industry for being exceptionally accurate, with results typically within <1% of physical testing results.

Dynamic Impact Testing capabilities include:

  • Instrumented Falling Weight Impact Testing
  • Weight range: from 5 kg to 250 kg
  • Speed range: for 5 kg, speeds up to 70 km/h; for other weights, up to 30 km/h
  • Sample size: 400 mm high, 400 mm wide, no length limit
  • Impactors: 165 mm diameter flat impactor; 165 mm hemispherical impactor; others available as required
