A porous closed-cell foam that protects and "breathes"
Brock™ is a unique porous closed-cell composite foam. It forms a fast-draining cushioning layer for synthetic sports field systems, which not only improves field performance, but also significantly reduces installation time and related labor costs.
Brock combines resilient cushioning with a “breathable” functionality. Air and water easily pass through Brock. When used in protective athletic gear, for example, Brock provides both impact protection and allows perspiration to evaporate.
Applications include personal protection gear for lacrosse, mountain climbing, motocross racing, and other sports.
Brock is finding a rapidly growing number of applications where material porosity, energy and noise management, airflow, insulation, durability and easy installation are important. Underlayment for ceramic tile installation is one example.
