Contract Furniture
ARPRO® is an appealing material for makers of contract, or institutional furniture. It is economical to mould, provides a good combination of structural strength, resilience and resistance to water, oils and cleaning solutions. Surface texture, or grain, can be added in a virtually unlimited range of textures. Bright colours are available. In addition, ARPRO® can be sterilised by simple steam cleaning for use in critical conditions, and, as a chemically inert closed cell plastic foam, ARPRO® does not support microbial growth.
Upholstered Furniture
The vast majority of furniture in the consumer world, of course, is traditional upholstered furniture. ARPRO® can serve as a wood and metal replacement in many kinds of upholstered furniture systems. It can make possible furniture that is both sturdy and substantial, yet lighter in weight and easier to move, such as for the elderly and for more convenient cleaning and rearranging.
