Packaging

Packaging
ARPRO® can be moulded into simple shapes which do not generate particles or break under impact.

ARPRO® EPP is One of the World's Most Versatile Packaging Materials

Packaging made from ARPRO® EPP (expanded polypropylene) serves multiple needs across a range of applications, from consumer electronics to heavy industrial and military equipment, sensitive medical equipment, and dunnage, which is reusable, multiple-use shipping containers for industrial products like automotive parts.

For packaging products, JSP typically works closely with moulders who produce finished parts made from ARPRO®, with design and technical support from JSP. With an international presence in all major industrial regions, this can mean packaging consistency for global suppliers of products like consumer electronics.

Anti-Static, Dissipative and Conductive grades

ARPRO® is available in Technical Grades, including Anti-Static, Dissipative and Conductive grades, each designed to meet specific "antistat" packaging requirements. These specifications are particularly critical for sensitive electronic equipment and other applications where static sparks are hazardous.

Packaging
The resilience and shape "memory" of ARPRO® makes it perfect for creating packaging where two parts snap-fit to fully enclose the product, and then can be easily opened.

Fabricate custom packaging using moulded planks

ARPRO® can also be used to fabricate custom packaging, when parts are cut from moulded planks or blocks. There are a number of cutting and adhering techniques that can be used with ARPRO® EPP for the fabrication of packaging for products like heavy equipment, instruments, machinery and other industrial components.

ARPRO® Sprint® is a special grade of EPP that allows dramatically faster moulding cycles. For packaging applications where surface appearance is not critical, ARPRO® Sprint® is an ideal choice.

As a closed cell plastic foam, ARPRO® provides outstanding thermal insulation for applications where food, medical supplies or other temperature sensitive products require protection.

Low density ARPRO® grades are available when lower impact shock protection is required. High density ARPRO® produces energy absorbing packaging for even the heaviest of industrial applications.
