ARPRO - Technical Grades

Conductive

For Packaging Materials Where Optimum Static Control Is Critical

ARPRO® Conductive EPP is our highest grade of anti-stat material used for plastic foam packaging, and features surface resistivity in the range of less than 104 Ω/surf.

ARPRO® Conductive is sometimes referred to as an ESD (electro static discharge) packaging foam, and is highly effective for preventing static sparks in environments such as chemical processing plants, electronic / electrical equipment manufacturing, food packaging facilities, healthcare facilities and military hardware and electronics.

No ARPRO® basic material properties are compromised with the use of the special additives that reduce the surface conductivity, as these additives tend to migrate to the surface during the moulding process of the ARPRO® product, where, in fact, the additives are most effective.

In addition to preventing damage resulting from electrical spark, ARPRO® Conductive is highly effective at energy absorption, resisting multiple impact, and is durable in a range of extreme environments.

JSP can produce anti-static ARPRO® EPP plastic foam products along a scale of surface resistivity. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
