By creating an expanded Solef® that is up to sixteen times lighter, new important material properties are added to key benefit

New Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF Foam dramatically increases the application possibilities of fluoropolymers.

By creating an expanded Solef® that is up to sixteen times lighter, new important material properties are added to key benefits such as fire-, chemical- and UV-resistance, thermal stability and purity.  In addition to light weight, Solef® Expanded PVDF provides improved thermal insulation and mechanical resilience.

Perhaps the greatest advantage however is its new capability to be easily moulded.  Large and complex, three-dimensional-shaped components can now be delivered in a one-step process, multiplying the ways the material can be used.  Established markets for Solef® such as Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductor and Chemical Process Industries, Oil &Gas, Water treatment, Marine, Bioscience, Pharmaceutical and Pulp and Paper can all benefit from the new material and process possibilities of Expanded PVDF.

Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF is produced in partnership by JSP and Solvay Solexis.
